Clever Raven
Clever ravens. They don’t rush, they assess. In the wild, ravens are known for problem-solving. They remember hiding places, use tools, plan multiple steps ahead, and adapt when conditions change. Ravens approach obstacles with strategy, not force.
The raven’s intelligence was first captured by Aesop. In the fable, a thirsty raven finds water sitting just out of reach in a narrow pitcher. Tipping the cup would only water the soil. And being a clever raven, it decided not to give up. It began dropping pebbles inside. Slowly, deliberately, the waterline rises until the raven could reach the water with its beak. Nothing was broken. Nothing was forced. The solution emerged by adding to the problem.
As a raven, Andrea’s firm resolves problems by adding to them. She adds systems, software efficiencies, and appropriate consultants to reach a desired outcome. She doesn’t solve problems by pushing harder - she changes the conditions. Her incremental efforts, applied thoughtfully, transform the situations of her clients. Like the clever raven, wisdom often lies in knowing when to observe the underlying barriers and add the right elements to reach a solution.
